Growatt WIT 12K-HU Hybrid Inverter – Smart Power, Compact Design
The Growatt WIT 12K-HU is a powerful and intelligent three-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential and light commercial solar energy systems. With a rated power of 12kW and support for up to 19.2kW PV input, it provides a reliable, efficient, and scalable solution for modern energy management.
High Performance and Efficiency
The inverter delivers a maximum efficiency of 97.6%, ensuring minimal energy loss during power conversion. Its dual MPPT trackers allow flexible installation and optimized solar harvesting from multiple roof orientations or panel groups.
Advanced Battery Compatibility
Supporting 48V low-voltage lithium and lead-acid batteries, the WIT 12K-HU offers up to 250A charging/discharging capacity. This enables robust energy storage for both on-grid and off-grid scenarios. The system can operate in parallel with up to 6 units, allowing future expansion and higher total capacity.
Reliable Backup and UPS Function
The built-in UPS functionality ensures power continuity with a rapid 10ms switching time. It supports black start capability and integrates seamlessly with generators, making it ideal for areas prone to grid instability or outages.
Durable and Weatherproof Design
With IP66-rated protection, the inverter is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. Its smart air cooling system ensures stable performance in temperatures ranging from –30°C to +60°C, without derating below 45°C. The transformerless design ensures compactness and high reliability.
Enhanced Safety Features
Safety is a priority in the WIT 12K-HU. It includes comprehensive protections such as surge protection, reverse polarity detection, insulation and ground fault monitoring, anti-islanding protection, PID recovery, and optional arc fault detection (AFCI).
